The one in the current avatar is my youngest daughter, but I need to find a 'representative' picture of "me." I see lots of gray hair, but now I can't figure out how to go to the avatar place!! Is there a way, or am I stuck in PINK for the rest of

my Yahoo existence?

go to your profile and click edit profile

now in the picture section click edit avatar and a window will open up!

Gone to Long....I am so happy you brought this up. I had asked the same question last week or so because I couldn't find the Grey hair look on my avatar selections. I thought I was stuck on my red hair pigtails forever. Then about 2 days ago, I went back on the avatar and then all of a sudden, there were Grey and even a white haired colors to choose from!! However, they are only on certain hair styles, not each one Keep going through each style and check the colors. They should come up, if they don't, just keep checking back now and then.

Click on edit profile.

click on edit avatar.

Go to the hairstyles.

Only certain ones have the gray color option listed to the right of the hair style.

click on the haircolor and save.

And after you hit save be sure to exit the avatar page and preview and OK everything on your profile page too.

I don't have much grey, but thought I'd give it a try for a bit.

There aren't many in the selection ... just keep going until you find grey hair as you attempt to change your avatar. It seems to be coming a more common complaint around this section ... not finding avatars that resemble our Seniors.

I wish I could turn this hair silver I like the jazzy style but it does not give the choice to be silver (grey). Oh well at least I did change it a different color than yours.

Not sure what to change to, maybe a Spanish Look, always liked Spain.

I've noticed that for the hairstyles that don't give grey as an option, black looks kind of like a dark grey with certain styles.
