I once saw two poodles on TV, one was pink, one blue. WTF? And HOW?

I have yet to come across pet-safe hair dies. Who would do that? As much as I would love the novelty of running around with a pink poodle, isn't that a bit extreme?

Also, if you know it to be simply movie magic, do tell. If you know where the die is available *online* I'd LOVE to have a look at the site. Could make for a good laugh.

You can dye them using kool-aid. Red kool-aid for a pink dog or blue kool-aid for a blue one. You can also apply chalk if you just want them to have say pink ears and tail. Either of these options are inexpensive methods, wash out (may take several baths to go away completely) and it is non-toxic to both the dog and human.

I have also seen some dogs with pink hair, and it is interesting

that's forsure, but I think you would need to go to a goomer for

that. I would not suggest trying it yourself.

Almost any licensed, certified dog groomer can dye your dog any color you like with non toxic, pet safe dye. I know a lot of people that show their dogs and have experience do it themselves. It is cute! One time I saw a little dog that looked like Benji and he was normal colored (tan) except his hair on his head had been cut/styled into a mohawk and dyed bright green! As far as online, I have no idea. You might check out a website for a "chain" dog grooming business, I really dont know of any, my groomer is just a local, one store owner, but I am sure chain dog groomers exist.

Well of course!

I have a Labrador (naturally blonde) but we dyed him red and named him Clifford.

Just kidding :]

But yes, there are pet safe dyes, and groomers can do that for your pet if you want.

I've also seen pet stencil kits where you get little stencils and pet safe like spray paint stuff and you can spray little stars and hearts or whatever on them but it's not permanent.

I agree it's extreme, but it's also kind of cool in a way.

The pet safe dye mentioned here is nothing else but food coloring! That's what's use to color dog's fur!
