NOT going to get lots of glued in hair extensions for length, only a few strands on the underlayers , peek-a-boos. for a funky vibe (pink) was wondering, if i was to get them done by a salon..typically..how long do they last? (the salon hairdresser said 1-2 months if thats true..) and are they hard to take care of.? I.e will i be able to comb, shampoo and sleep the way I usually do? Thanks in advance

i've never personaly had them, but i have assisted in putting them in. from what i've seen, they last depending on how well you take care of them.
i dont think you can shower for about 2-3 days to ensure that the glue is completely dry, but thats just what i've been told
you also have to be extremely careful with tugging because sometimes a slight yank will take them out
now i think professionally would be A LOT better
all the extensions ive had experience with have been done by non professionals that are just helping out their friend
non professionals that i've seen have lasted only about 1-2 weeks at the most
the others have been either taken out purposely or their parents didn't agree and others took a shower to fast and it was also pulled out
like i said
professionals will do a MUCH better job, 1-2 months is probably about right
you will also be able to sleep the same, but you have to be a lot more gentle when combing and shampooing

I wouldn't suggest getting 'glue' extensions. 'Clip-ons' are way better and are easily put on.

lol..they last 2-3 weeks....and if you have oily (caucasion hair) it might be a little bit less ebcause of the oils...just take care of it...and wrap it up at night...also...you might want to consider tracks...like little braids with weave tracks sewn in on each one..theyre really cute..undetectable...and last a long time!
