What colour should i put in my hair?

i have an dark brown hair styled to an inverted bob, i want to but a big thick slash of colour in it somehwhere, i know i might hav to bleach it first. only thing is i dont want it red, pink or blond. where should i put the slash and what colour? x

well first you need to add "red-out" to your hair dye before you dye your hair. go the the beauty saloon and ask for "red-out" it should be less than 3 dollars and it's in a little tiny Tube. It Prevents your hair from going red and helps the hair dye do it's job. You just add it to your hair dye before you shake it up. I have dark brown and Black hair, when I was little my mom Died my hair gold and it came out beautiful, when I got older I tryed to do it and it came out straigt red! then my mom told me about Red out, and now I have beautiful goldish Blondish hair.

as far as what color and where. If you don't want to dye your whole head then, Dye just the tod of your head, part in into a diamond in the top, and dye that part, when it falls it will look slightly stricked, but more sun kissed or natural.

Or you can go for the "dipped look" just die the tip of your hair, I would go with a reddish color.

as far as color, if you have dark brown hair I would go for a Burgundy or reddish color. Gold is pretty too!

if your looking for unusual colors,

i'd say maybe purple,

or a dark blue.

because light colors might look bad,

but you could always go with a black color.

or even though you said no red,

maybe you could do a natural, but strong red.
