not the wet to dry one ..that leaves your hair horribly frizzy and damages your hair quicker than normal ones...

i bought an andis one from walmart for $15 dollars. it has curved golden plates, and you can also curl your hair with it. it's great, as long as you protect your hair with a silicon based hair serum like got2b. apply it to your hair when it's wet.

okay you using a wet and dry flat iron is the worst on your hair because its damaging and straighting your hair at the same time also frizzies up too. me ive yried that one and hated it i have tried many others and they were ok but not the best. i recently bought the chi iron and its the best and i love it. i didnt know what the thang was about it but i can surely tell you. it adds shine to your hair while straightening it. soft to the touch and easy to run your fingers through. you can also curl your hair with it, flip it out or flip it under i love it too. They have all different sizes and all different types of chi-irons. hope this helps.

Yes i own one and i have the coroliss pro

at my mall, they sell them at those stands.

it's ceramic and it can also curl your hair

it makes GORGEOUS curls, if you know how to do it. just ask the worker. but i personally love it. it makes my hair smooth and shiny as well. it also helps to put some heat protective spray before your straighten your hair

i happen to use a brand that many of the stylists in LA use....we like them because they have been making them longer than most other companies.... and they have some of the best technology we have found....

They are called Magics....

6-7 years ago they were $700. ..... but if you can order by calling them and use my name tell them "Dakota" recommended you to order from them....You should be able to get it for about $95. - $100. ....they have 7 or 8 models... with a couple with the steam holes if you want to take the hair from damp to dry....

But...just remember these irons are doing lots of damage to girls hair.... you MUST learn to use them as LITTLE as possible ...

The absolute worst thing for hair is HEAT...........

but you can help it along

and its OK to use them as long as you use a good one with the right technology which the MAGIC has...

Make sure to use a protective Silicone SERUM to protect the hair as well..........

here's the site.....

I have long hair but it doesn't behave in humid air. My favorite way to straighten my hair is with a round real bristle hair brush and a blow dryer, after washing my hair The brush holds the hair while you slide it down with the blower pointed at the brush to dry it. Do this in small sections. Part your hair first into 4 sections. Pin up each one so it won't get in the way of the brush. As you take down one section, part it into smaller sections and dry with the blower. For any type hair use a frizz polish serum on wet hair to smooth and shine your hair. Then roll the brush at the ends to give it bounce. Please don't roll it all the way up or you will not get the brush out of your hair without ripping or cutting it out. Hope this helps.

I own a Herstyler called colorful seasons (I believe) and mine is purple but there are like 5 colors to choose from. I can't tell you why this one is better than the others because I have not had any other kind. I got this a year ago after I used my cousins and I love it. This straightener is $200 dollars on Herstylers website but I bought it brand new off of EBay for $35. Definitely a smart buy not only because of the quality but also the price. I highly recommend this straightener. A year old now but just as good as new. Hopefully this helped.

Almost forgot, this straightner is a multitasker it straightens, curls, and flips.

i use this hair straightener called the maxiglide. it works a lot better than any other hair straightener because it also has little detangling pins that basically brush your hair as you straighten it. this helps it be straighter. because if you think about it, regular straighteners just flatten your hair. well your hair could look like this

and it would flatten it like that. but then the maxiglide brushes it so that it is straight

(hope you like the visual). also it has protective sides so that you won't burn yourself. it also has this thing where you can put water in and press a button and then steam will come and that helps your hair become nice and shiny. i've had it for about a year and i love it. i also bought the miniglide which is just a smaller version of the maxiglide. it's great for touch-ups. it can get right up to the scalp.

i hope that helped. let me know if you need any more help.

Curling irons are horrible! GHDs aren't really good, in my opinion. Chi, I guess, is popular, but I think it's okay. And the Sedu... well it doesn't feel good. I don't use any of them, cause my hair is straight!
