Scene hairstyles, nothing extreme?

okay, so im 14, so my parents won't let me dye my hair. so no wild colors. i have light brown hair. and its really really long. it's about..... down to my elbows. i want to get a "scene haircut" but i need something thats toned down a little bit from audrey kitching's hot pink hair.haha. i want side bangs, and i dont want a whole lot of length taken off--by that i mean..not above my shoulders. ideas? :)

long layers, long side bangs, maybe they might let you highlight it, i'd go with blonde

The scene haircut is getting out really fast simply because people are getting sick of it.

The best thing to do is wait till your parents let you dye your hair bright colours and do it without the scene haircut, or cut it short.
